How can I sign up?

  2. Choose the plan that works best for you from our payment page hosted by Stripe—either our Monthly Plan at $19.99 or our Yearly Plan at $199. You’ll start with a 7-day free trial, during which you won’t be charged. If you cancel before the end of your trial, you won’t be billed at all. It’s that simple! 
  3. Once your purchase is complete, you will be redirected to 6pm in Paris and you’ll receive an email from us titled "Set Up Your Password for Your New 6pm in Paris Account". Simply click the link in the email to create your password, and you’ll be ready to access all that 6pm in Paris has to offer!
How does the 6pm in Paris platform work?
6pm in Paris is a subscription-based platform that brings French language learning to life through cinema. Every week, you’ll receive a new CinéPack™, which includes a curated short film and complementary content to help you understand and practice real-life French expressions and cultural references. This unique approach lets you develop language skills and gain a deeper understanding of French culture, all from the comfort of your home.
What is a CinéPack™?
A CinéPack™ is a weekly bundle that includes a curated French short film, our exclusive companion show After Shorts, which breaks down expressions and cultural references used in the film, as well as a Film Phrasebook and Quizzes. Each CinéPack™ is designed to enhance your language learning experience and immerse you in authentic French culture.
Do I get to keep my CinéPacks™?
Yes! Once you receive a CinéPack™, it’s added to your personal library, so you can rewatch it anytime. If you cancel your monthly plan, you’ll stop receiving new CinéPacks and lose access to the platform. However, your CinéPacks™ will be available again when you reactivate your plan.
Are there subtitles available for the films and After Shorts?
Yes, all our short films come with subtitles in both French and English, with an option for dual French-English subtitles to enhance your learning. Our After Shorts episodes also feature subtitles in both French and English, so you can choose the option that best supports your experience.
What plans do you offer?
 We offer two subscription options, both following the same release model:
  • Monthly Plan: For $19 per month, you receive one CinéPack each week, unlocked every Friday. This includes a curated short film, After Shorts companion episode, Film Phrasebook, and Quizzes. You also have access to the 6pm in Paris online community where you can connect with other learners.
  • Yearly Plan: For $199 per year (a savings of two months compared to the monthly rate), you get the same weekly CinéPack releases along with access to the 6pm in Paris online community.
Will I have access to new content as it’s released?
Yes! Whether you’re on a monthly or yearly plan, you receive new CinéPacks™ weekly, as they are released, with no extra charges.
On what devices can I watch 6pm in Paris?
Can I download the films to watch offline?
Yes, you can download films and After Shorts episodes for offline viewing, but this feature is only available on our mobile app. Just download the content to your device, and you can watch it anytime, even without an internet connection.

What's the required level of proficiency to use the platform? 
6pm in Paris is designed for learners at every level. Beginners can immerse themselves in authentic French sounds and expressions, building a strong foundation, while intermediate learners can explore everyday language in more depth. Advanced learners will enjoy diving into cultural nuances and real-life expressions. Plus, everything is subtitled in English and/or French, so you can follow along and enjoy the entertainment, no matter your proficiency level.

Payment, Terms and Conditions

How does the free trial work?
The 7-day free trial, available for both monthly and annual plans, gives you direct access to all previously released CinéPacks, plus a new one on the Friday following the start of your trial. At the end of the trial, you’ll be automatically enrolled in your chosen subscription plan. If you decide not to continue, simply cancel before the trial period ends to avoid any charges.
How can I cancel my subscription?
To cancel your subscription, visit your account page (https://6pminparis.com/your-account) and click on “Manage My Subscription”. You’ll be redirected to Stripe, where you’ll need to enter your email address. Stripe will then send you an email with a link to access your secure customer portal. From there, you’ll be able to easily cancel your subscription.
Is there a minimum subscription length?
No, there’s no minimum subscription length. You can cancel your subscription anytime, and you’ll retain access to the platform until the end of your billing cycle.
I’ve signed up for the monthly plan. Can I upgrade to the yearly one?
Yes, you can upgrade to the yearly plan anytime, even during your trial, from your account page. Simply access your account page and click on "Manage my subscription". On your customer portal, select the yearly plan, and your annual subscription will start immediately for one year from that date. If you switch partway through a monthly billing period, you’ll receive a prorated credit for the unused portion of your monthly plan, reducing the cost of the yearly plan. This way, you’re only charged for the time you’ve used on the monthly plan up to the switch.
Can I downgrade to the monthly plan?
Yes, you can downgrade to the monthly plan anytime from your account page. The change will take effect at the end of your current annual billing cycle, so you’ll continue to have access to all features of the annual plan until then. After that, your subscription will switch to the monthly plan, and you’ll be billed accordingly.
I signed up as a beta user / early adopter. Will my subscription renew?
If you signed up with as a beta user / early adopter between November 2022 and May 2023 (with one of our legacy plans “Le Pass,” “Le Pass VIP,” or “12 Months Offer”) this was a one-time purchase and won’t automatically renew. As a thank-you, “Le Pass” and “12 Months Offer” users will receive an additional 3 months of access to CinéPacks at the end of their plan, while “Le Pass VIP” users will enjoy an extra 6 months.

When your complimentary access ends, you’ll have the option to purchase a new plan directly from our sign-up page. If you joined with our legacy $19/month offer and your subscription is still active, your account will be automatically updated to our new monthly plan with CinéPacks.

Lifetime users will keep their access to all legacy content released during the beta and automatically receive new CinéPacks.
What is your refund policy?
If you cancel during the 7-day trial, you won’t be charged. Once your subscription plan begins, no refunds are available. However, you can cancel your monthly or annual plan anytime, and you’ll retain access to the platform until the end of your billing cycle. After that, you’ll lose access, but you can reactivate your plan at any time.
Can I pay in installments?
Unfortunately, we do not offer payment plans at this time. All subscriptions are billed either monthly or annually, depending on the plan you choose.
How do you process payments?
We use Stripe to securely process all payments. Sensitive credit information is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and then encrypted in our payment gateway provider’s database. This data is accessible only to authorized personnel with special access rights, who are required to keep it confidential. After your transaction, your contact and payment details are not stored on our servers, ensuring your privacy and security.
Can I sign up for someone else / gift it to someone?
At this time, we don’t offer gift cards, and each user must register individually. We hope to provide gifting options in the future, so stay tuned!
Do you offer multiple users per account?
No, each account is for a single user only. For the best learning experience, each person should have their own account.
