Our mission with 6pm in Paris is simple: to bridge the gap between language learning and cultural discovery and make learning French accessible and engaging for everyone, everywhere .

Our story

6pm in Paris is an offshoot of Léa's first company, Coucou French Classes, a renowned center for French culture and language in NYC and LA, offering a wide variety of classes and workshops in-person and online.

Léa’s vision for a new kind of education—a blend of lifestyle and learning—became the inspiration behind 6pm in Paris. After over 10 years of refining her approach and gathering feedback from students, Léa and our team developed 6pm in Paris to bring the magic of Coucou to a wider audience.

Léa is a seasoned entrepreneur with 14+ years in the language industry. Founder of Coucou French Classes and Little Paris NYC, she excels in creating innovative, lifestyle-focused educational experiences.

Julien Frei

Founder & COO

Julien leverages his expertise as the former Director of Education at Coucou, blending operational excellence with deep linguistic insights. Multilingual and results-driven, he brings a data-savvy approach and a unique perspective from his career as a professional dancer.
