Jean-Baptiste Alaize n’est pas seulement un athlète paralympique. Survivant du génocide, marqué à vie par la violence, il trouve dans la course un moyen de survivre aux cauchemars et de se reconstruire. De son adoption en France à ses sélections internationales, Triomphe explore comment le sport peut devenir un acte de résistance intime, une réponse lumineuse à la barbarie et à la perte.
Synopsis (en)
Jean-Baptiste Alaize is more than a Paralympic athlete. A genocide survivor, permanently marked by violence, he finds in running a way to escape nightmares and rebuild himself. From his adoption in France to international competitions, Triomphe explores how sport can become an intimate act of resistance, a luminous response to barbarity and loss.
