En se rendant à son rendez-vous pour avorter, une jeune mécanicienne enceinte accompagne sa patronne pour réparer le van en panne d’un survivaliste. Pendant qu’elle travaille, elle se retrouve entraînée dans une conversation franche et troublante avec cet homme — une conversation qui bouscule sa vision de l’avenir. Leur bref échange, sur fond de campagne silencieuse et isolée, fait doucement évoluer sa perspective. Lorsque le van redémarre enfin, elle comprend que sa décision n’est peut-être pas aussi simple qu’elle le croyait.
Synopsis (en)
While heading to her abortion appointment, a young pregnant mechanic joins her boss to repair a survivalist’s broken-down van. As she works, she finds herself drawn into a candid, unsettling conversation with the man—one that challenges her sense of what the future can hold. Their brief encounter, set against the quiet isolation of the countryside, gently shifts her perspective. By the time the van starts again, she realizes her decision may not be as straightforward as she believed.
