Loin des signes classiques au “fisheye”, des spots de béton lisses et parfaits, “Le Skate Moderne” nous présente un groupe de skaters qui n’hésitent pas à mettre leurs boards dans la boue et rouler sur un environnement insolite et atypique, celui de nos campagnes. Entre fiction et documentaire, la vidéo suit de manière contemplative une bande de skaters/fermiers dans les coins les plus reculés de la Dordogne.

Far from the typical fisheye lens shots and smooth, perfect concrete skate spots, “Le Skate Moderne” follows a group of skaters who don’t hesitate to take their boards through the mud, riding in unexpected and unconventional terrain: the French countryside. Blending fiction and documentary, the film contemplatively follows a crew of skater-farmers through some of the most remote corners of the Dordogne.
