Après une prestation ratée lors du concours de plongeons annuel organisé à l’occasion de la fête du village, Sam voit son rêve de podium s’éloigner une fois de plus. Kevin, son frère, plus grand fan et allié, tente de la réconforter. Alors que tout espoir semble anéanti pour Sam, Thor, mystérieux athlète, décèle dans son profil atypique la promesse d’une discipline méconnue : le Dødsing.
Ce sport, appartenant à la catégorie des sports obscurs ayant un public, consiste à se jeter d’une hauteur plus ou moins élevée pour réaliser le plus beau plat. La carrière sportive de Sam n’a peut-être pas encore commencé, mais elle n’est pas terminée...
Synopsis (en)
After a failed dive at the village’s annual competition, Sam sees her dream of reaching the podium slip away—again. Kevin, her brother and biggest supporter, tries to comfort her. Just as all hope seems lost, Thor, a mysterious athlete, sees untapped potential in Sam’s unusual style and introduces her to an obscure sport: Dødsing.
In this Norwegian discipline, competitors launch themselves from great heights to perform the most spectacular belly flop possible. Sam’s athletic career may not have started yet—but it’s far from over...
