Félix, 20 ans, partage tout sur les réseaux, même son rêve de devenir acteur. Lors d’un casting transmise en direct, il doit incarner un personnage à la recherche de sa mère biologique. Mais plus il joue, plus la fiction se confond avec sa propre histoire. Faux semblants explore la porosité entre intimité et performance, entre le besoin d’être vu et celui d’être compris.

Félix, 20, shares everything online, even his dream of becoming an actor. During a live-streamed audition, he must play a character searching for his biological mother. But as he performs, the line between fiction and his own story blurs. Faux semblants explores the thin boundary between authenticity and performance, between the need to be seen and the desire to be understood.
