Synopsis (fr)
Élancourt, ville nouvelle de la banlieue parisienne. Rayan, 22 ans, est écrasé par l’ennui. Dans l’espoir de rejoindre Sabrina, seule touche de couleur dans sa grisaille, il vole la gyroroue de Jean-Philippe, un quadragénaire fraîchement licencié, en plein cours de taï-chi en plein air. Une course-poursuite s’engage à travers ronds-points, îlots sur dalle et voitures de police, qui ne sont pas là pour eux mais pour Cassiopée, 10 ans, portée disparue. En fugue, elle observe, raconte ce monde-là et la ville qui l’entoure.
Synopsis (en)
Élancourt, a planned city in the Parisian suburbs. Rayan, 22, is crushed by boredom. Hoping to reach Sabrina—the only splash of color in his gray routine—he steals the electric unicycle of Jean-Philippe, a recently fired forty-something, in the middle of his outdoor tai chi class. A chase unfolds through roundabouts, concrete plazas, and police cars, though they aren’t after them but Cassiopée, a missing 10-year-old. On the run, she watches, narrating this world and the city around her.
